Breakfast Margaritas

While looking over the drink selection of one of my go to brunch spots, I noticed they had a breakfast margarita. If some OJ and adding the word “breakfast” means I can have tequila before noon then I was sold! I’ve basically been dreaming about that marg since and knew I needed to recreate it to share with you all!

What you’ll need:
– 2 oz OR 1 cup Tequila
– 2 oz OR 1 cup Prosecco
– 2 oz OR 1 cup OJ
– 1 ounce OR 1/2 cup sour mix
– Coarse sugar for the rim, optional
– Orange slices for garnish, optional
– Ice, as needed

*the above measurements will either make you 1 margarita OR a pitcher for 4.

What you’ll do:
– Combine the Tequila, Prosecco, OJ and sour mix in a separate glass or pitcher.
– Use an orange wedge to wet the rim of your glass, then dip the rim in the sugar.
– Fill your glass about 3/4 of the way with ice and pour in your margarita mix.
– ENJOY!

A few notes:
– I bought the cheapest tequila and prosecco I could find so I recommend using whatever you prefer/can afford.
– Again, I grabbed the cheapest OJ I could find so just use what you like.
– I made my own sour mix using 2 parts simple syrup and 1 parts OJ and lemon juice. But you can buy your own if that’s easiest.
